Project Summary
São Gonçalo do Amarante Airport (ASGA), auctioned in 2011, is the largest cargo airport in the Northeast region of Brazil and was considered the second best in the country in the category of airports that receive up to 5 million passengers (Satisfaction Survey conducted by the National Agency of Aviation - ANAC). In 2019, ASGA had more than 2.2 million passenger boardings on domestic flights and 89,000 passenger boardings on international flights. Its location closer to the European, North American and African continents gives it a strategic advantage for export and international tourism purposes. The enterprise was qualified at the 13th meeting of the PPI Council, through Resolution No. 122, of 06/10/2020.
