Project Summary
The ANM bid/tenders comprises mineral rights that have returned to National Mining Agency (ANM) porfolio.
Due to a legal change in 2018, the ANM bid/tenders must be carried out according to a new model, which is comprised of public offer followed by an electronic bid auction in case there are two or more interested investors for the same project or area.
Considering that no tender has been carried out since end of 2016, it is estimated that there are currently tens of thousands of areas in the ANM portfolio, and a large damming of investments in the sector.
The PPI will support ANM in structuring this new model, including the public offer, for the tenders to be performed in 2020.
