The project consists in the privatization of the organized Port of São Sebastião/SP, as well as it´s public services.
The proposal of this privatization aims to give the Port greater competitiveness and agility to manage its operations, without the ties imposed on the public administration. In addition, it has the potential to bring important international experience in port management, as demonstrated in the recent concessions of the transport infrastructure carried out by the federal government.
Also, the proposed project will allow the Port of São Sebastião to implement the expansion project that consists on the construction of a multi-cargo terminal, to be able to handle containers, vehicles, liquid bulk, solid bulk and general cargo, with expected investments around R$ 574 million.
