Project Summary

The Candiota/RS Coal Project comprises of 11 (eleven) mineral rights with a total area of 21,353.60 hectares. The project corresponds to 4 blocks of areas to be bid separately: Estância da Glória (4,000 hectares), Arroio Pitangueira (5,940.55 hectares), Seival II (5,413.05 hectares) and Arroio dos Vimes (6,000 hectares).

The deposits are well located, being close to other operating coal mines and to thermoelectric plants (consumer market). Basic infrastructure is available.

As the project is located at the border zone, legal restrictions to foreign investments may aply.
