Project Current Situation
As stated on the ANP website (http://rodadas.anp.gov.br/pt/17-rodada-licitacao), on August 30, 2018, CNPE Resolution No. 10 was published in the Official Gazette, which established the guidelines for the multiannual planning of blocks for bids for oil and natural gas exploration and production in the 2020 - 2021 biennium and authorized the ANP to hold the 17th Round of Bids for blocks for exploration and production of oil and natural gas, under concession, in 2020 .
On November 19, 2019, Resolution No. 24 of the National Energy Policy Council (CNPE) was published in the DOU, which authorizes the ANP to carry out the 17th Round of Bids for Blocks for the Exploration and Production of Oil and Natural Gas, under the concession regime. On the same date, Resolution No. 86 of the PPI Council was published, classifying this projectj as a national priority.
The ANP board approved on April 1, 2020 the temporary suspension of the 17th Bidding Round for areas for exploration and production of oil and natural gas, under the concession regime, which was scheduled for this year.
